Today it is counted as one of the most responsible educational institutions of Ahmedabad contributing the devoted, committed and sincere youth to the society as well as the nation. With a major focus on this responsibility, Gujarat Law Society has established its own ‘Teacher Training Institute’ in the year 2003. From the very well beginning till today GLS INSTITUTE OF TEACHER EDUCATION has developed its own working system. The Institute works with the multi-dimensional role to build the teachers of tomorrow, who became the true ‘protector’, ‘nutritive’ and ‘vigilant helmsmen’ of the society. The institute constantly does its best efforts to build up the personality of teacher trainees and lead their holy characters for the better development of our India. To enlighten such glittering stars and to shape the new generation of future citizens, the institute works with honesty and loyalty.

The opening sentence of the Kothari Commission (1966) states that,

“The destiny of India is now being shaped in its classrooms.”
This statement has inspired the institute to serve its best efforts to make it true in reality with bright vision of excellence in education.
